Lavender herbs are commonly grown as an ornamental plant. Popular for its toothed grey-green leaves and colorful (violet-blue) and strongly aromatic fragrance, it appears in spikes during mid to late summer. It also has the ability to survive with low water consumption. These sweet aromatic sub-shrubs are popular in herb gardens as well as in the perennial borders. And they tend to grow up to the height of 60 – 80 cm. With property such as flowering well into the winter season, they are perfect for pots and borders.
